/PRNewswire/ — ieGeek has opened advance reservations for the ZY-Q5 security camera system in the UK and Europe. The system combines 5-megapixel outdoor cameras with a base station, allowing households to monitor different areas of their home via the ieGeek Cam app and record videos locally without a monthly subscription.
Reservations are available via the UK ZY-Q5 page and the European ZY-Q5 page. Orders will open on November 15, 2026, and shipping of the first batch for eligible orders is expected to begin on November 25.
Centralized visualization and local storage
The ieGeek Cam app displays multiple live video feeds on a single screen, allowing households to monitor driveways, gardens and walkways simultaneously. The base station supports up to eight devices and accepts microSD cards up to 512GB for local recording.
Outdoor surveillance day and night
The ZY-Q5’s 5MP cameras support color night vision, while AI detection and auto-tracking help users track activity around their property. Users can set detection zones and monitoring schedules, receive motion alerts, and communicate with visitors through a two-way audio system.
Solar-assisted charging helps reduce manual recharges, and the cameras benefit from an IP65 weather-resistant rating for outdoor use.
Black Friday in the UK and Europe
ieGeek will also host a Black Friday event offering discounts of up to 60% on selected products. Featured models include the S5 Solar Surveillance Camera and the S11 4G-LTE Camera. VIP Early Access will run from November 8-11, followed by the main sale which will take place from November 12-December 4.
