/PRNewswire/ — Journalists from South Korea, Turkey, the United States and Cuba visited several high-tech enterprises and modern agricultural demonstration parks in Yuhang District, Hangzhou from October 26 to 28.
Through site visits and practical experiences, they were able to see first-hand the progress made by Yuhang in integrating technological and industrial innovation.
Their visit began on October 26 at Scantech, a leading comprehensive 3D solutions provider, where they explored and experimented with 3D visual scanning technologies.
After testing a 3D scanner, Isaura Diez, a journalist at the Cuban news agency Prensa Latina, said it was the first time she had used a scanner and was really impressed by the device and its technology. What particularly impressed her were its many applications, particularly in the medical and industrial fields, she added.
On October 27, the group visited RoboCT Technology, a domestic high-tech enterprise specializing in the development and application of exoskeleton robotics, to learn about the research, development and practical applications of exoskeleton robots.
At RoboCT, they discovered how exoskeletons help patients with lower limb paralysis from spinal cord injuries or strokes to stand and walk again, and they saw how brain-computer interface technology enables thought-controlled rehabilitation.
After trying the GoGo-H Pro exoskeleton, a journalist from the Turkish daily Aydinlik praised the incredible lightness of the equipment. “I felt like it was part of my own body,” he said, adding that what impressed him was seeing how China’s cutting-edge technologies are being used to improve people’s lives.
At Xynova, a leader in key components for humanoid robotics, Associated Press contract photographer Dan Sandoval tested the Flex 2, a high-degree-of-freedom humanoid hand product. He said the product can perform all the movements a human hand does and he hopes to see it applied in an increasingly wider range of scenarios in the future.
The reporters then visited the Qianxi Ecological Agricultural Demonstration Park in Jingshan City. There they learned how digital rice cultivation and AI-based management systems are applied throughout the rice production process.
As the new urban center of Hangzhou, Yuhang promotes technological and industrial integration, thereby boosting the digital economy, high-tech, urban-rural development and rural revitalization.
