/PRNewswire/ — Journalists from South Korean, Turkish, US and Cuban media visited several high-tech companies and modern agricultural demonstration parks in Yuhang District of Hangzhou from October 26 to 28.
Through site visits and hands-on experiences, they gained first-hand insights into Yuhang’s progress in integrating technological and industrial innovation.
They began their tour on October 26th at Scantech, a leading provider of comprehensive 3D solutions, where they explored and tested 3D visual digitization technologies.
After trying out a 3D scanner, Isaura Diez, a journalist with Cuban news agency Prensa Latina, said it was her first time using such a scanner and that she was deeply impressed by both the device and the technology behind it. She added that she was particularly impressed by the wide range of possible applications, including in the medical and industrial sectors.
On October 27, the group visited RoboCT Technology, a national high-tech company dedicated to the development and application of exoskeleton robotics, to learn more about the research, development and practical applications of exoskeleton robots.
At RoboCT, they learned how exoskeletons help patients with lower extremity impairments from spinal cord injuries and strokes stand and walk again, and saw brain-computer interface technology that enables mind-controlled rehabilitation.
After trying on the GoGo-H Pro exoskeleton, a reporter from the Turkish newspaper Aydinlik praised the device for its incredibly light weight. “It felt like a part of my own body,” he said, adding that he was particularly impressed by seeing firsthand how China’s advanced technologies are being used to improve people’s lives.
At Xynova, a leading provider of key components in humanoid robotics, Dan Sandoval, an Associated Press contract photographer, tried out the high-doF (Flex 2) dexterous hand. He explained that the product can perform all the movements that a human hand is capable of, and he hopes that it will be used in an increasingly wide range of application scenarios in the future.
The journalists then visited the Qianxi Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Demonstration Park in Jingshan City. There they learned how digital rice seedling breeding and AI-supported management systems are used throughout the entire rice production process.
As the new urban center of Hangzhou, Yuhang promotes technological and industrial integration and provides impetus to digital economy, advanced technologies, urban-rural development and rural revitalization.
