At this year’s exhibition, Dahua presented a comprehensive portfolio of solutions covering five key application areas: Intelligent Security, Equipment Inspection, HSE-DPI Management, Electric Vehicle Charging and Intelligent Control Center. Together, these solutions address the growing need for smarter operations, safer workplaces and more efficient asset management in renewable energy infrastructure.
For the Intelligent SecurityDahua presented perimeter protection solutions for photovoltaic systems and energy facilities, integrating thermography, radar-camera link, triple-lens monitoring and solar-powered wireless security. Thanks to proprietary thermal algorithms, the solution extends the detection range up to 85%. In a solar project in Brazil, the solution reduced more than 1,000 daily false alarms generated by 204 devices to approximately one false alarm per device per week. In Europe, Dahua’s AI-based perimeter protection solutions have also been deployed in a 60 MW solar park in Romania.
For theEquipment InspectionDahua demonstrated customized intelligent inspection solutions for substations and other geographically distributed energy assets. By continuously monitoring the temperature and operational status of equipment, the system helps operators identify potential anomalies at an early stage. Automated inspection logs and reports further support predictive maintenance strategies, improving operational efficiency while reducing the workload resulting from manual inspections.
To improve safety at work, Dahua has presented its HSE-PPE solutionswhich include AI-based detection systems, both fixed and portable. The solutions automatically check whether personnel entering high-risk areas are wearing the required personal protective equipment, such as helmets and safety vests, and provide real-time alerts if irregularities are detected, helping to strengthen compliance with safety regulations in energy facilities.
Dahua also presented its portfolio of charging solutions for electric vehicleswhich includes AC charging solutions for residential environments and DC fast charging solutions for commercial applications. Supported by a cloud-based management platform and mobile app, the solutions allow users to monitor charging status, configure charging schedules and manage charging operations with greater flexibility and convenience.
To complement these applications, the Intelligent control center by Dahua integrates safety, inspection and operational management into a single platform based on DSS Professional. The platform supports remote video monitoring, alarm management, inspection activity planning and historical data analysis, providing operators with a centralized view of site operations. In Italy, Dahua’s thermal perimeter protection solution and DSS Professional platform enabled the centralized management of remote solar sites and were subsequently extended to cover 80 sites with approximately 1,600 thermal cameras.
