Verda and Compal expand their collaboration on global AI infrastructure at GTC Berlin 2026
Compal’s growing manufacturing capacity and NVIDIA HGX B300-based infrastructure support the expansion of Verda’s AI cloud deployment in global markets
/PRNewswire/ — Verda and Compal Electronics (Compal; TWSE: 2324) are expanding their collaboration to support Verda’s rapidly growing AI infrastructure; To do this, they combine Verda’s experience in the AI cloud with Compal’s growing global manufacturing capabilities and its advanced AI server engineering. The companies will announce their collaboration in GTC Berlin 2026in a context in which the demand for computing for AI continues to accelerate both in Europe and in global markets.
As Verda expands its AI cloud capabilities, the ability to quickly and efficiently deploy infrastructure across regions becomes increasingly crucial. Compal continues to invest in expanding its manufacturing capacity, including increased capacity in Daxi, Taiwan and in the United States, strengthening its ability to support customers closer to where AI infrastructure is deployed.
This global presence is a significant advantage for Verda’s expansion strategy. Deployments in the United States can be supported by local manufacturing in the United States, while Compal’s increased capacity in Daxi can support Verda’s growth in the EMEA and Asia regions. This helps improve deployment flexibility, supply chain resilience and speed as Verda scales its AI infrastructure globally.
Growing together: from advanced computing to global deployment
The collaboration between Verda and Compal brings together complementary strengths throughout the entire AI infrastructure lifecycle. Verda brings expertise in GPU-based cloud infrastructure, deployment and operations, transforming advanced computing power into scalable cloud AI services. For its part, Compal provides the engineering, large-scale manufacturing capacity and global production infrastructure necessary to convert the latest accelerated computing technologies into solutions ready for deployment.
Together, the two companies are creating a more agile path to bring NVIDIA’s accelerated computing technology to production AI environments, allowing Verda to scale its capacity more quickly while maintaining the infrastructure reliability and scalability needed for global-scale growth.
As a basis for this new stage, Compal’s SGX30-2 system is used, based on NVIDIA HGXB300 systems with eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs. Designed for high-density AI workloads, this platform provides a next-generation computing foundation for Verda’s expanding AI infrastructure.
“Our goal is to equip cutting-edge AI teams around the world with the processing power they need, and the next two years will be crucial as we scale our business to meet growing demand. Working with Compal allows us to scale our operations quickly and reliably,” said Arturs Polis, CTO at Verda.
Alan Chang, vicepresidente, Infrastructure Solutions Business Group (ISBG) de Compal, comentó:
“Our investment in global-scale manufacturing aims to support customers as AI infrastructure transitions from rapid innovation to large-scale deployment. By combining Compal’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities with Verda’s AI cloud and operations expertise, we can respond more nimbly to regional demand and accelerate the deployment of next-generation AI infrastructure.”
