World Robotics Conference 2026: Zoomlion presents industrial embedded intelligence

/PRNewswire/ — Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd.(“Zoomlion” or “the company”; 1157.HK) showcases its embedded intelligence technologies and robotic products for industrial applications during the World Robotics Conference 2026(WRC), which takes place from August 19 to 23, 2026 in Beijing, China.

Since 2015, the WRC has brought together companies, researchers and industry representatives to demonstrate advances in robotics and their practical applications. The 2026 edition focuses on human-robot collaboration and greater alignment between technological development and industrial demand.

At the WRC, Zoomlion presents the bipedal humanoid robot Z01the humanoid robot with wheels Z03 and quadruped robot dogs D15 y D40in addition to its self-developed articular modules.

These robotic products are a reflection of Zoomlion’s application of embedded intelligence to address practical manufacturing problems such as flexible sorting, precision assembly and wire harness manipulation, with each robot configured to the requirements of the assigned task.

Zoomlion exhibitor presents Robot Opsan embedded intelligence operating system that debuted at the Hannover Fair in April 2026. Designed as a professional development platform for embedded intelligence in the Software 3.0 era, Robot Ops integrates four main modules: basic tools, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and task orchestration. It supports a closed-loop development lifecycle that integrates data collection, model training, simulation and validation, as well as deployment and operations.

The platform has been designed to support applications involving humanoid robots, industrial robots, construction machinery and autonomous driving, empowering industries through a single integrated platform and providing a standardized and replicable engineering path for large-scale deployment of embedded intelligence.

In addition to Robot Ops, Zoomlion also presents ZBrainan embedded intelligence system that allows traditional industrial robots to go beyond executing fixed programs and become intelligent operating units that are capable of perceiving their environment, understanding tasks, making autonomous decisions and executing closed-loop operations.

Thanks to ZBrain, users can carry out the issuance of task instructions, after which the system autonomously performs detection, planning, execution and verification. It is designed to support high-variety, low-volume production, significantly shortening implementation timelines, accelerating change cycles, and reducing barriers to adoption.

At the conference, Zoomlion highlights capabilities based on real tests. Zoomlion has validated its robots in almost 20 manufacturing scenarios in Zoomlion Smart Citywhere they have been deployed in active manufacturing environments. This operational experience provides the data and knowledge needed to drive smart technologies and robotic products toward large-scale industrial deployment.

Industrial and interactive demonstrations

Visitors can experience the capabilities of Zoomlion robots first-hand through a series of industrial and interactive demonstrations. The Z03 model performs material selection, sorts irregularly shaped objects, and completes rearview mirror pre-assembly, while the Z01 model manipulates and organizes wire harnesses. Demonstrations also include synchronized dance performances, robot-guided tours, and gestural interactions with the Z01 model.

The company is driving embedded intelligence from laboratory research to deployable industrial applications and supporting smart manufacturing across diverse sectors.

Visitors to WRC 2026 can find Zoomlion in the exhibitor D403 in pavilion D.
