Roundup: Return-to-Work Timetables Unclear, Executives Say

More than a third of executives, 35%, say they’re unsure of when their companies will reopen their workplace. According to the Conference Board, just 60% have consulted workers about their readiness and comfort with returning, and only 5% sat a widely available vaccine would have a significant impact on the timing of return to work.

Job.com acquired HireVergence, an IT staffing firm focused on cybersecurity. The company said it’s the first time its digital platform has been paired with an existing talent acquisition solutions provider.

Recruiter.com announced a strategic partnership with Beeline, a provider of management software for the contingent workforce. Beeline customers will have access to a new diversity team at Recruiter.com, which will focus on minority-owned, small and independent recruiting firms, the company said. 

Harqen.AI launched a machine learning platform, which reviews interview transcripts through a language analysis to gauge “psychological attributes, levels of enthusiasm, and word clusters that are specific to job types.” The company claims the technology’s hiring decisions almost always align with those of human recruiters.

SilkRoad announced an integration with HireRight, describing the partnership as part of its focus on delivering seamless candidate-to-hire experience. Through the integration, SilkRoad Recruiting and SilkRoad RedCarpet Onboarding clients will be able to initiate background checks and view their status from within the platform.

Modern Hire announced CognitIOn, a “science” embedded in all of its products to help customers use data to provide a better candidate experience.  

CareerBuilder named Leigh-Margaret Stull as chief product officer. Since joining the company’s management team in 2010, Stull has led strategy, R&D and development efforts.

Tyi McCray became Pinterest’s global head of inclusion and diversity. She’ll oversee strategy and programming to foster an inclusive and diverse culture.
