/PRNewswire/ — Xiamen Innovax Biotech Co., Ltd. (IX) participated in the 38th Annual Conference of the International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS2026), held in Athens, Greece, October 22-25, joining experts and partners from around the world to exchange scientific knowledge and explore collaborative strategies for HPV prevention and cervical cancer eradication.

Under the theme “Together Against HPV,” IX welcomed international participants to booth 14 for discussions on vaccine innovation, scientific evidence, accessibility and international collaboration. An interactive signature board and display wall invited participants to share their views and commitments to HPV (human papillomavirus) prevention.
Recognizing the diversity of public health needs and challenges across countries, IX highlighted the importance of listening to global voices, respecting local contexts, and translating scientific innovation into accessible and sustainable solutions.
New interim data presented at IPVS2026
During the scientific program, Dr. NanaA.Ansah from the Navrongo Health Research Center in Ghana presented the 6th month interim analysis of the PATH HPV Single Dose Immunobridging Study with New Vaccines (SHINEI; CVIA 104).
This phase III, double-blind, randomized, multinational study, conducted in Ghana and the Philippines, compares the immunogenicity and safety of a single dose of Cecolin9 with Gardasil 9 in girls aged 9 to 14 years and young women aged 15 to 20 years, respectively. Final data is expected in 2028.
From innovation to global collaboration
IX’s HPV vaccine portfolio includes Cecolin, its WHO prequalified bivalent HPV vaccine, and Cecolin9, its next-generation nonavalent HPV vaccine launching in China in 2025.
Leveraging its proprietary technology platform of virus-like particles (VLPs) derived from E. coli, IX continues to advance vaccine innovation, large-scale production and international partnerships. Through technology transfer and local capacity building, IX aims to consolidate sustainable vaccine supply and bring innovation closer to local public health needs.
The IPVS2026 conference reaffirmed IX’s commitment to listening, learning and collaborating with the global HPV community. Guided by its mission to provide high-quality, affordable vaccines, IX will continue to work with partners around the world to advance HPV prevention and support the common goal of eliminating cervical cancer.
