/PRNewswire/ — Hisense, the world’s leading brand in consumer electronics and home appliances, presents its latest innovations in displays, laser technology and audio at IFA 2026 under the theme “Innovating for a brighter life”, combining vivid picture quality, visual comfort and immersive sound to deliver a more enjoyable home entertainment experience.
At IFA 2026, Hisense products have also been recognized in various categories of the IFA Innovation Awards: the Hisense UX1 sound bar was the winner, while the 116UXS MiniLED TV, UR8 TV, REGZA RGB Mini LED ZX series of TVs and the XR10 laser projector received an honorable mention.
Making its European debut, the Hisense 116UXS features the next evolution of RGB MiniLED technology, powered by Chromagic 2.0. Its four-color backlight incorporates a cyan light source specific to red, green and blue, reaching 110% of the BT.2020 color space. The 116UXS has also earned Pantone Validated RGB MiniLED and Pantone Color certifications, further supporting its color performance. Thanks to the combination of a maximum brightness of 10,000 nits, the Hi-View AI Engine RGB and the Obsidian panel, the 116UXS offers improved color accuracy, contrast and depth for a realistic viewing experience.
The 116UXS combines advanced color performance with a hardware-level visual comfort solution. Its low blue light emission technology allows for prolonged and comfortable viewing without compromising image quality, obtaining TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) certification. Beyond the flagship model, the entire 2026 RGB MiniLED range – including the UR9S and UR8S – has received TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, making eye protection a series standard rather than a feature exclusive to the high-end model.
Hisense and TÜV Rheinland celebrated the achievement of these certifications during IFA 2026, in a joint event attended by Henk Pieters, Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Communication of the TÜV Rheinland Group Products division, and Sonny Ming, General Manager of Television Product Marketing at the Hisense Global Shopping Center.
Sonny Ming stated: “This certification from TÜV Rheinland objectively validates that Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs offer a more comfortable viewing experience. Additionally, Hisense will continue to drive display innovation to provide consumers with world-class picture quality that combines brilliant colors with greater viewing comfort.”
This focus on visual comfort also extends to Hisense laser products. The XR10 laser projector, Laser Cinema PX4 Pro and Laser TV L9Q Pro have achieved Eye Comfort certification from TÜV Rheinland, while the C3 series and other models further expand the product range for an immersive big screen entertainment experience.
Hisense presents FSD (Field Sequential Display) technology, a world pioneer, at IFA 2026; It is a revolutionary LCD architecture that eliminates color filters by displaying red, green and blue image components sequentially in the time domain, achieving significantly higher brightness, purer colors, greater energy efficiency and refresh rates of up to 360 Hz compared to conventional LCD panels.
Beyond screens and projectors, Hisense features sound bars, speakers, and headphones. The UX1 sound bar combines 11.2.6 channel audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS and Hi-Concerto integration with select Hisense TVs to deliver a smooth, immersive audio-visual experience. The Hisense HiClips open-design wireless headphones weigh just 5.5g each and feature a flexible design that allows you to wear them comfortably all day.
Together, these innovations reflect Hisense’s vision of a more comfortable, vivid and immersive home entertainment ecosystem, making everyday experiences brighter and more enjoyable.
