/PRNewswire/ — The 72nd IAA TRANSPORTATION exhibition will take place from September 14 to 20 at the Hannover exhibition center in Germany. Under the theme “Engineering the Next Horizon, Delivering the Next Journey”, FAW TRUCKS will make a show of strength by presenting five vehicle models, including the CORTRONCS600, and nine essential components, bridging its historical heritage and its exploration of the future in the global commercial vehicle scene.
During the show, the five vehicles on display will retrace 70 years of FAW TRUCKS, from its beginnings to industrial leadership. The range will include three CORTRONCS tractors offering diesel and battery-electric powertrain options. Designed for the long-haul market, the diesel models feature a new generation of essential components designed in-house, resulting in a 15% reduction in vehicle fuel consumption. The battery-electric model is based on an 800V high-voltage platform and supports two-connector CCS2 fast charging up to 1000A, with a single-connector Megawatt Charging System (MCS) available as an option. It also features a dual-motor electric axle with a maximum transmission efficiency of 94.5%.
The stand will also feature nine core components developed in-house, including the GD300 and ER540 power domains. Offering multiple energy options, including conventional fuels, electric battery power and hydrogen, the range demonstrates FAW TRUCKS’ strong in-house development capabilities.
Located at stand B10, hall24, FAW TRUCKS features an open design with four themed zones: Low Carbon, Zero Carbon, Ecosystem and Future. These zones respectively showcase advances in energy efficiency and carbon reduction for conventional powertrains, new energy product portfolio, full lifecycle solutions and cutting-edge technologies for next-generation smart logistics. Each exhibit has its own QR code, while detailed product information is also available on a dedicated microsite. By integrating on-site and online experiences, FAW TRUCKS pushes the boundaries of exhibition time and location.
This year, FAW TRUCKS will exhibit alongside partners such as FAWER, FAWAY, FAWSN, SmartLink and Zhuoyu Technology. Together, they will present the transformation of FAW TRUCKS, which no longer simply operates as a manufacturer, but offers an integrated “products+services+ecosystem” solution, while creating a platform for close engagement with customers and the industrial ecosystem around the world.
