For its pioneering products and solutions, CLOU received the Excellence Award in the Energy Storage category from trade fair organizer PTAK WARSAW EXPO, earning official industry recognition for its advancements in energy storage technology and expanding applications.

Energy storage technology is accelerating Europe’s energy transition, helping businesses significantly reduce their electricity costs through scenarios such as peak shaving and trough filling, photovoltaic (PV) self-consumption and electricity arbitrage, while millisecond-level emergency response ensures critical operations remain uninterrupted. Yet the sector faces three major challenges: removing revenue bottlenecks, boosting operational efficiency and strengthening security defenses.

Storage systems Aqua-E261 et Aqua-X261 C&I: Maximum security, maximum yield

Flagship products in CLOU’s C&I liquid-cooled energy storage range, Aqua-E261 and Aqua-X261 are equipped with 314Ah battery cells and an energy storage capacity of up to 261kWh. Both models are certified to IEC, UN and CE standards. The Aqua-X261 is CLOU’s first integrated photovoltaic and energy storage system, which offers an optional 120kW photovoltaic module and STS module.

Ultimate security

In the electrical circuit, both products have a four-level overcurrent protection, to pack, cluster, PCS and cabinet levelsto obtain a precise and rapid stop level by level. In the thermal circuit, a three-layer safety system “early warning, exhaust ventilation and fire protection” is applied for proactive intervention before thermal runaway. Active ventilation combined with cabinet level fire suppressionfurther protects adjacent property.

AI Smart Monitoringprovides real-time data, reports cell anomalies and thermal runaway risks, and mitigates damage caused by thermal runaway. Additionally, the European solution hosts key control and monitoring platforms on local servers, meeting the region’s rigorous reliability standards.

Maximum yield

In terms of revenue, the product achieves a cell temperature difference of ≤2.5°C thanks to balanced heat dissipation at the pack and cell level, thus extending the life of the system by 2 years with two charges and two discharges per day.

Midea’s patented AI temperature control technology reduces auxiliary power consumption by 30% with very low static losses. Combined with a high-performance PCS and an intelligent Energy Management System (EMS) programming strategy, the system achieves maximum efficiency of 90%.

The standardized modular design allows for flexible capacity expansion, while on-site pre-commissioning reduces construction time by 50%. The updated EMS ensures intelligent operation and management. An AI diagnostic system performs real-time fault analysis, enables algorithm updates every 15 minutes, and dynamically optimizes programming for maximum cycle efficiency.

SystemsAqua-C industrial-scale storage: Ultimate performance, global reach

In addition to the new C&I storage offerings, CLOU demonstrated several industrial-scale liquid-cooled energy storage systems. Its flagship product, the Aqua-C2.5, which is already in commercial deployment globally, delivers breakthroughs in safety, performance and integrated innovation. As CLOU’s first large-scale system with the company’s fully developed string-type PCS core technology, it surpasses the most stringent North American, European and international standards. This product enables global market penetration, demonstrating CLOU’s dual leadership in energy storage technology and commercial execution.

Building on the core technologies of Aqua-C2.5, CLOU launched Aqua-C3.0 and Aqua-C3.0 Pro liquid-cooled energy storage systems in 2025, responding to the application trend in the current large cell era. Notably, Aqua-C3.0 is equipped with a 587Ah high energy density battery cell, with a capacity of 6.25MWh for a single cabinet. Thanks to the active balancing technology developed by CLOU, the string type PCS and the integrated AC/DC design, the discharge capacity over the entire life cycle is increased by 4%, and a system RTE of ≥91.5% is achieved.

The Aqua-C3.0 Pro is equipped with a very large capacity cell of over 600Ah, with a capacity of 7,354MWh for a single cabinet. With multiple technological innovations such as direct cooling technology, active balancing, PCS string with SIC technology and integrated CTR architecture, it can significantly improve the efficiency, safety and ease of operation and maintenance of the system, defining the next generation of energy storage systems.
