OMRON Healthcare, Global Leader in Blood Pressure Monitoring, Signs Strategic Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding

/PRNewswire/ — On November 4, 2025, Sky Labs announced that it had raised investments from OMRON Ventures (OVC: Minato-ku, Tokyo), the corporate venture capital (CVC) arm of the Omron Group. This implies the strengthening of strategic alliances for the global expansion of the business, beyond simple financial investment.

Additionally, Sky Labs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OMRON Healthcare Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Muko, Kyoto; President and CEO: Ayumu Okada), a global leader in the blood pressure monitoring market, to strengthen their strategic alliance.

The strengthening of this alliance is a result of the success of Sky Labs’ “CART BP” device, which demonstrates confidence in its growth potential in the prevention of chronic diseases and the expansion of its business globally.

In 2024, both companies signed an MoU for the global distribution and commercial development of the “CART BP”, as well as a distribution contract in the Japanese market for previous products.

Sky Labs successfully commercialized the world’s first ring-cuff-less blood pressure monitor: the “CART BP”.

The main feature of “Cart BP” is its ability to continuously measure blood pressure during the day, sleep and night, which helps prevent hypertension and cardiovascular diseases.

In addition, it is possible to see changes and trends in blood pressure by hour, date and month throughout daily life, without having to go to a clinic or outpatient measurement center.

OMRON Healthcare is the industry’s leading medical device manufacturer, having supplied home and hospital blood pressure monitors and cardiovascular monitoring solutions to more than 130 countries and regions around the world.

In 2025, cumulative global sales of blood pressure monitors will exceed 400 million units, and we continue to develop innovative products and solutions to ensure accurate and continuous blood pressure monitoring at home.

Jack Byunghwan Lee, CEO of Sky Labs, commented, “Our strategic alliance is an achievement in which Sky Labs’ technology has been recognized for its clinical efficacy and commercial viability by global standards.

“We will lead innovation in the global healthcare market by expanding chronic disease management together with OMRON Healthcare, a global leader in the blood pressure monitoring market.”
