Wellington College International Lagos is located in Alaro City, the twin city of Tatu City in Nigeria. By replicating the success of the Wellington College International Lagos campus in Alaro City, Rendeavor is creating a pan-African education network of excellence that bridges West and East Africa.

Wellington College International Kenya will be the best school in East Africa, providing exceptional education that will equip students with the knowledge, skills and character needed to realize their potential and contribute to building a better world. Attracting students from neighboring East African countries and beyond, the Tatu City campus is designed as a modern and responsive educational environment, offering state-of-the-art science laboratories and teaching spaces, innovative technology infrastructure, comprehensive sports and recreational facilities (including a 50-meter Olympic-standard swimming pool), creative and performance spaces, as well as areas dedicated to supporting students’ personal and social development. This state-of-the-art school builds on the success of Tatu City, which has attracted US$3.5 billion in investment to Kenya and created more than 30,000 new jobs over the past five years.

Wellington College International Kenya will follow the rigorous English National Curriculum, culminating in the challenging A-levels program, and will provide excellent coaching and teaching in the areas of sport, music and the arts. As part of the global Wellington College Education family, students at Wellington College International Kenya will benefit from connections with sister schools across Europe and Asia, including collaboration opportunities, shared academic initiatives and international programs. Upon graduation, students will join the school’s ‘Old Wellingtonian’ alumni network, allowing them to maintain lifelong connections with a well-established global community.

James Dahl, 15th Master of Wellington College, said: “The launch of Wellington College International Kenya is a very proud moment for our global group of schools. For our new partners in Kenya, this interconnectivity will provide immediate access to the dynamism, talent and experience of our entire community.”

Stephen Jennings, founder and chief executive of Rendeavor, said: “To receive a top British education it is no longer necessary to send children to the UK. Wellington College International Kenya offers a blend of academic rigor, extracurricular activities and facilities only found in Tatu City and Kenya, one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Kenya is on many families’ list of goals and life experiences. Now, they can also consider relocating to Kenya and Tatu City to have access to one of the best educational experiences in the world.”
