PSEG Long Island Leads JD Power 2025 Enterprise Customer Satisfaction Study in Eastern Large Enterprise Segment

The company is the most improved electrical service provider in the country as ranked by JD Power

/PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — PSEG Long Island earned the top score for customer satisfaction among enterprise customers in the Eastern Large Utility segment, according to the JD Power 2025 Utility Enterprise Customer Satisfaction StudySM. This recognition caps an 11-year upward trajectory from the bottom of the survey rankings, when PSEG Long Island assumed management of the electric grid.

JD Power surveyed 18,132 business customers nationwide in 2025. The study’s “large eastern utilities” category includes major electric companies operating in Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

Customers who responded to JD Power’s survey rated PSEG Long Island number one in four major categories: digital channels, staffing, cost and information provided.

PSEG Long Island offers numerous programs and incentives for business customers, including free energy assessments, economic development grants and bill credit programs, energy efficiency rebates, and incentives for electric vehicles and their chargers.

The company supports its largest enterprise clients through a dedicated team of key account employees who coordinate with key personnel at these companies to ensure quality service.

To assist its small business customers, PSEG Long Island has Business First Advocates, covering business districts throughout the service area and offering a concierge service to help manage their electrical needs.

Additionally, PSEG Long Island launched several economic development initiatives in 2018 and has since provided more than $2.8 million to support local entrepreneurs.

The subsidies for therevitalization of main streetsare designed to promote the economic vitality and growth of a business district, and encourage business clients to undertake renovation or expansion projects to start or grow their businesses. To date, 72 businesses have received nearly $2 million in grants under this program. Grants support local businesses and communities. They also contribute to the local economy, as recipients of these grants created nearly 1,200 new jobs in their new or expanded businesses.

In addition to these direct grants to businesses, local business groups, such as chambers of commerce, business improvement districts, and civic associations that support businesses, are eligible for grants of up to $10,000 each for improvements and beautification. Under the new nameCommunityThrive ProgramThrough PSEG Long Island, business organizations are eligible for reimbursement on items such as outdoor tables and seating areas, planters and signage to promote dining and commerce in downtown areas.

Along with the Business First program, PSEG Long Island’s Energy Efficiency Group offers significant discounts on heating and cooling, indoor and outdoor lighting, refrigeration and more to help business owners save money and reduce their carbon footprint.
