Partner Policies: More Trust, More Profitability, More Simplicity, More Growth

Charles Yang underlined that the smart era offers tremendous opportunities and challenges for Huawei Cloud and its partners. Huawei Cloud is committed to systemic innovation by delivering unparalleled AI computing through the industry’s most powerful CloudMatrix supernode. Huawei Cloud’s MaaS platform supports a wide range of models and applications, beyond the leading Pangu models for basic industry scenarios. These initiatives, combined with comprehensive data governance and end-to-end security, enable partners to grow rapidly by fostering a thriving ecosystem. He also gave detailed information about Huawei Cloud’s partner policies for 2026.

Huawei Cloud strengthens partners’ trust by clearly defining business boundaries and market strategies and ensuring there is no competition for profit. These policies will not change for the next three years.

Huawei Cloud introduces five policy enhancements that offer competitive discounts and incentives to increase partner profitability, strengthen project collaborations to win more projects, and leverage its brand to attract new customers and expand partners’ market presence.

To facilitate partnerships, Huawei Cloud adheres to certain rules of cooperation and fights corruption. The Partner Center will be revamped as a seamless one-stop work environment that increases efficiency and ease of collaboration.

For partners to grow, Huawei Cloud offers comprehensive support, including tiered support and practical incentives.

“Cloud and AI is a 30-year marathon that is just starting,” Yang said. He added: “The partners you choose are just as important as your destination. A true partnership is not about short-term interests, but about long-term companionship. Huawei Cloud is committed to standing by its partners for a mutually sustainable and beneficial future.”

Promoting a Healthy, Thriving and Self-Sustaining Community Ecosystem

Huawei Cloud Computing Global Sales President Li Shi looked back at the past year and showed how Huawei Cloud and its partners have progressed together. In 2025, Huawei Cloud’s number of partners grew by over 50%. The number of partners continued to increase and joint collaborations continued to deepen. To date, Huawei Cloud has more than 40 global distributors and more than 50 core/premier cloud solution provider partners outside China. The ecosystem has more than 4,000 global partners and hundreds of thousands of paying customers.

As a partner ecosystem committed to continuously improving trust, profitability, simplicity and growth, Huawei Cloud has redefined customer account classification and clarified the responsibilities of Huawei and its partners. Huawei Cloud continues to support the stability of this ecosystem and partner success with a three-pronged approach of incentives, benefits and regulations. Huawei Cloud demonstrates this support for rewarding partners by completely upgrading its partner incentive framework this year.

The upgrade consists of four key support elements that Huawei Cloud will provide to partners to promote their holistic growth. These four key elements are: strengthening the voice of partners in Huawei Cloud’s global media matrix, helping partners improve their brand image by using more than 50 global reference points in key communication areas, elevating partners’ benefits such as a larger Market Development Fund and full support for their promotions, and finally inviting partners to participate in Huawei Cloud’s own global marketing activities.

Huawei Cloud will strengthen partners’ competencies with a specialized system designed for a variety of roles, from strategic insights to sales applications. For CXO-level leaders, Huawei Cloud will facilitate executive-level exchange of information on industry trends, digital transformation and AI strategy to align visions. Core teams will benefit from courses on business operations, industry knowledge and growth strategies. BDs, SAs and CSMs will receive hands-on training, including sales drills and technical workshops, to develop their expertise.
