LDES becomes a strategic enabler for green energy in any climate
During the inauguration, Jason Wang, co-founder and CEO of HiTHIUM, noted that the key to turning green energy from climate-dependent to stable and easy-to-use is energy storage, especially LDES. To drive this vision, HiTHIUM officially launched the “All-Weather Green Energy Lighthouse 135 Plan.” Centered on LDES and guided by the mission to co-create a new world of always-on green energy, the five-year initiative focuses on three pillars of action: green smart computing, comprehensive storage deployment, and green energy centers, with the goal of extending the LDES “beacon” to all industries and enabling green energy to benefit everyone.

AIDC in the spotlight: Deciphering energy pathways and launching joint industry Blue Book
The AIDC roundtable, hosted by Dr. Nazar Yi, Board Member and Vice President of HiTHIUM, together with experts from telecom operators, data center companies and industry associations, discussed whether LDES is the missing piece to achieve zero-carbon AIDCs. Guests noted that AIDCs face growing tension between growing computing demand and power supply shortages, and that lithium-based LDES is a key avenue to improve stability, reduce costs and enable scalable development.
The event also included the joint publication of the China AIDC Energy Storage Blue Book 2025, prepared by HiTHIUM and leading industry organizations. The report describes AIDC energy consumption trends, the evolution of BBU requirements and the growing importance of LDES to AIDC energy constraints, offering a detailed analysis from sector demand to implementation strategies.
Accelerating the integration of AI and energy and building an open LDES ecosystem
In his closing speech, Jeff Wu, founder and president of HiTHIUM, highlighted that energy storage should be on par with wind and solar energy, not only in useful life, but also in cost.
