/PRNewswire/ — emagine today announces that it has acquired Gentis’ consulting business in Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Emagine is thus expanding its European presence to Belgium and Luxembourg and at the same time strengthening its position in France.

Gentis is a Belgian-founded consulting firm with a 15-year track record of building a scaled, cross-border platform in Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Supported by more than 270 consultants working on assignments with long-standing customer relationships in these markets, the acquired business represents Gentis’ consulting business. In addition, magine offered immediate access to established local teams, extensive implementation capabilities and a well-embedded regional presence.

In addition to geographic expansion, this transaction also enables the provision of nearshore and offshore services to an existing customer base in new countries.

“At its core, it’s about offering our customers an even better service and at the same time significantly expanding our presence in Europe,” said Anders Gratte, Managing Director of emagine. “This will give us faster access to highly qualified talent and enable us to deliver services more consistently. We look forward to entering these new markets and supporting customers from day one by combining strong local expertise with more efficient, technology-enabled ways to match talent with demand. We are excited to welcome the Gentis team to emagine.”

“What made Gentis successful was never just the commercial performance, but also the way we work: with trust, with directness and with genuine care for the people in our company,” said Stéphanie Reniers, co-founder and managing director of Gentis Group. “When we looked at unsemagine, we noticed not only the strategic fit, but also the cultural one. For us, a Nordic leadership approach based on equality, openness and strong relationships is not something we claim lightly. It is the foundation of what we have tried to build ourselves. We are convinced that what we hand over will be in good hands.”
