/PRNewswire/ — DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a global technology services provider, today announced that it has been selected as a master vendor to provide BPO services and ERP and resource management (RM) replacement systems to the Metropolitan Police Service (“the Met”), the United Kingdom’s largest police agency. The contract, with a term of 7+1+1 years, was awarded to DXC following a competitive tender process.
DXC will modernize the way the Met uses its resources by providing replacement ERP and RM systems and assisting in the transformation of certain human resources, commercial and financial services. It will enable the Met to use real-time data to better respond to local needs and priorities, streamline internal processes and achieve significant savings by reducing unnecessary costs.The restructuring will also improve collaboration between departments, increase transparency and ensure technology investments directly support frontline policing.
