(Bloomberg: ARCLK TI) today announced the departure of Hakan Bulgurlu as Managing Director effective at the company’s next general meeting, following an 11-year tenure during which he orchestrated significant international expansion of the company and anchored sustainability at the heart of the company’s DNA. He will be replaced by Can Dinçer, currently general manager of Arçelik Türkiye and commercial director for South Asia and Turkey.

Hakan Bulgurlu, who has dedicated 32 years to the Koç Group, will serve on the board of directors of Beko BV until June 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. He will also complete his term as president of APPLiA, the European household appliances association.
This evolution of governance is part of a structured succession plan, aimed at guaranteeing strategic continuity and consolidating Beko’s global leadership as a manufacturer of household appliances.

During his 33-year career in Turkey, Europe, America and Asia-Pacific, Can Dinçer has held several leadership roles in Beko’s international operations. Throughout his various mandates, Mr. Dinçer played a crucial role in consolidating the company’s position in the Turkish market and in the constant growth of its business performance. He also ensured the stability and growth of the South Asia region, focusing on operational excellence and customer-centric strategies in highly competitive markets.
