/PRNewswire/ — The Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) opened on October 22 at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. One of the major events in the renewable energy sector in South Asia, this year’s exhibition attracted companies and industry professionals from around the world. At booth H16-A275, TCL Zhonghuan displays a full range of high-performance solar products, including high-efficiency silicon wafers, TCL Solar photovoltaic modules and BlueArk energy storage solutions.
In recent years, India’s photovoltaic sector has continued to expand, with domestic production capacity for solar cells and modules steadily increasing. Demand from large-scale solar power plants, commercial and industrial distributed generation, and residential rooftop installations creates diverse requirements for upstream materials and finished products. Additionally, high temperatures and dust in some regions, as well as salt-laden coastal environments, place increased demands on the electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental adaptability of photovoltaic products. To meet these varied market needs, TCLZhonghuan is introducing its X Series high-efficiency silicon wafers, as well as TCL Solar photovoltaic modules and BlueArk energy storage products, showcasing solutions from upstream photovoltaic materials to power generation and energy storage.
X range wafers: supporting the manufacturing of high-efficiency cells
The X range pads are among the flagship products of the range. Through optimizations in the area of crystal growth and associated manufacturing processes, this range is designed to control impurity levels and improve material properties, thereby supporting the downstream manufacturing of high-efficiency solar cells.
The electrical properties and mechanical reliability of wafers directly affect cell manufacturing performance and finished product yields, making them important considerations in material selection. As the Indian market increasingly focuses on power generation efficiency and project profitability, X Series wafers are compatible with popular high-efficiency cell technologies, including TOPCon, HJT and xBC, providing cell manufacturers with additional options for process optimization and performance improvement.
TCL solar photovoltaic modules: designed for various applications
During this exhibition, TCL Solar presents its photovoltaic modules from the T5 Pro and C2 ranges. The T5 Pro features high-density encapsulation technology and a three-section cell design, delivering 17% higher power generation than traditional half-cut modules when shading, with a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C. The C2 adopts back contact (BC) technology and gapless design, combining a larger effective power generation area with low-light performance, shading tolerance and low degradation. Designed to suit a variety of usage conditions, both ranges offer solutions for large-scale power plants, distributed generation in commercial and industrial sectors, as well as residential applications. TCL Solar continues to advance BC and TOPCon technologies to meet the evolving needs of the Indian market.
BlueArk Energy Storage: Solutions for Residential, Microgrid, and Commercial & Industrial Applications
The BlueArk range of energy storage systems is also on display, covering residential and small commercial applications, off-grid systems and microgrids, as well as commercial and industrial applications. The BlueArk X1 features an integrated design for homes and small businesses, while the X5 supports coordinated operation with photovoltaic systems and diesel generators for remote areas and industrial parks. The W10 adopts liquid cooling system and AI-based early warning capabilities to meet the energy management needs of commercial and industrial sectors. Together, these flexible storage solutions help improve energy utilization, optimize electricity costs and ensure more reliable power supply for various applications.
Strengthen industrial collaboration and explore solar and storage opportunities in India
With the advancement of the global energy transition, the Indian photovoltaic industry benefits from new opportunities both in terms of production capacity development and market expansion. Upstream materials innovation and enhanced collaboration across the value chain will also play an important role in supporting the long-term development of the sector.
TCL Zhonghuan will continue to advance silicon wafer technology and product innovation while deepening technical exchanges and business collaboration with its partners across the photovoltaic value chain, contributing to the global energy transition and a more sustainable, low-carbon future.
