Profisee Anywhere Enables Organizations to Manage Data Directly in Microsoft Fabric OneLake

Profisee, a leader in master data management (MDM), is offering new innovations for Microsoft Fabric that further its strategy to make trusted master data a natural part of the Microsoft data and AI ecosystem.

According to the company, its Profisee Anywhere capability allows organizations to use Profisee’s SaaS MDM service to manage master data directly in Microsoft Fabric OneLake.

When combined with Profisee’s certified Microsoft Fabric workload, Profisee Anywhere makes Profisee the only MDM platform where users can steward data natively inside Fabric without it ever leaving Fabric OneLake as it is created, managed, and governed over time.

This deeper integration with the Microsoft ecosystem gives organizations control over where master data lives while making it faster and easier to use trusted data across analytics, applications, and AI, the company said.

Profisee Anywhere builds on Profisee’s Microsoft Fabric workload and existing integrations with OneLake and Microsoft AI platforms through the Profisee MCP Server.

Together, these capabilities reflect a broader Profisee strategy: allow Microsoft customers to establish authoritative master data without creating another disconnected data environment, and make that data readily available to the analytics, applications, copilots, and AI agents that depend on it, said Profisee.

“Microsoft is bringing data, analytics and AI into an increasingly connected experience. Master data management should work the same way,” said Eric Melcher, CTO at Profisee. “Our strategy is to remove the seams between MDM and the Microsoft ecosystem so customers can establish trusted business data once and use it everywhere: from Fabric and OneLake to AI agents and operational applications. With Profisee Anywhere, customers can now master and steward that data without ever leaving Fabric.”

Profisee Anywhere extends the value of Microsoft Fabric by giving customers one SaaS experience to manage and govern their most critical master data, without moving it out of the centralized Fabric environment they have already invested in.

For customers already standardizing on Microsoft Fabric, this means master data is stored in in Microsoft Fabric and remains alongside the rest of their data estate in OneLake, rather than being copied out to and back from an MDM platform.

This reduces the copy-and-sync sprawl many organizations are actively trying to eliminate, gives operational processes faster access to mastered data, and supports a single, consistent source of master data inside Fabric, the vendor said.

Profisee provides the MDM platform and experience, while customers control where the underlying master data is stored, helping organizations balance cloud simplicity with sovereignty, compliance and governance requirements.

In addition to Profisee Anywhere, Profisee is also deepening its integration with Microsoft Fabric through new connectivity to SQL Databases in Microsoft Fabric. Profisee can now ingest raw data from Fabric SQL databases and publish mastered data back to them, enabling faster, more efficient access between operational data and mastered data. This adds to Profisee’s existing connectivity to Fabric Warehouse and Fabric Lakehouse.

These capabilities expand Profisee’s existing integrations across Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, OneLake Data Catalog, Power Platform and Microsoft AI experiences, creating a more direct path from enterprise data to trusted business outcomes.

Profisee Anywhere will enter GA in December 2026, and the Fabric SQL Database Connector will launch the week of the Fabric Community Conference with the 26R3 release of the Profisee Platform.
