, /PRNewswire/ — Nocpix today announced the launch ofOMNIits new 8K multispectral binoculars designed to provide clear and stable observation in broad daylight, low light conditions and at night.
By combining an 8K digital imaging system with high-sensitivity thermal sensing and interchangeable infrared illumination, OMNI combines multiple observation capabilities in a single, portable, compact device. Users can scan, identify and observe without having to change optics when lighting conditions vary.
The precision of 8K resolution combined with high-sensitivity thermal imaging
OMNI is equipped with an 8K digital sensor with more than four times the pixel count of common 4K sensors, allowing fine visual details, such as antlers, feather patterns and fur texture, to be preserved even at high magnification.
Its thermal channel is based on Nocpix Gen-3 thermal technology, available with a resolution of 640 or 384, a pixel pitch of 12μm, a NETD ≤ 15mK and a frame rate of 50Hz. Thanks to its very low light imaging capability (down to 0.001lux), its dynamic range of 140dB, its F1.8 aperture and its image processing adapted to each type of scene (daylight, twilight and low light), OMNI is designed to maintain usable details regardless of changing conditions in the field.
Designed for a stable and intuitive display
A 1600 × 1200 screen and a 12mm exit pupil allow prolonged observation in complete comfort. Fine 0.5x zoom increments allow for more precise magnification adjustment, while electronic image stabilization is available from 1x magnification to ensure image stability when used handheld.
OMNI is also designed for field use in natural conditions. The focus dials on the bottom sit under the fingers; a brief press switches between the digital and thermal channels, while an eye-level zoom dial allows the magnification to be changed without the user having to change their grip. Thanks to their simplified layout, the controls can be operated easily in the dark or with gloves.
Designed for field use
The compact magnesium alloy body has a non-slip PVC handle that ensures durability and a secure grip. A polarity-free 18650 battery compartment accepts compatible protected batteries in either direction, making battery replacement faster and easier in low light conditions.
“Seeing more is only part of the experience,” said Eugene, brand manager at Nocpix. “OMNI was designed to combine clarity, stability and intuitive handling in a single platform, so users can focus on what matters when they are in the field.”
From hunting to pest control to wildlife observation, OMNI expands the possibilities of portable multispectral observation with a platform designed for versatile use throughout the day.
