/PRNewswire/ — Hisense, a leading brand in global consumer electronics and home appliances, ranked first worldwide in shipments of 100-inch or larger TVs in the first half of 2026, achieving a market share of 55.1%, according to Omdia. This result reflects the demand for larger, more immersive screens and Hisense’s ability to bring premium large-screen experiences to more homes.
Building on this leadership position, Hisense is putting the viewing experience first – transforming display technology into even more immersive, lifelike experiences. The UR9 Series advances RGB MiniLED technology by independently controlling red, green and blue light on the backlight to deliver richer colors, deeper contrast and more detail – making movies more cinematic, sports more vivid and every scene more lifelike.
Hisense also offers consumers premium MiniLED performance with the U7 and U6 Pro series, which are based on Hi-QLED MiniLED technology. Combining precise local dimming with Quantum Dot color, these TVs produce brighter lights, deeper blacks and more vivid colors so viewers can see every detail in movies, sports and everyday content.
Hisense’s expertise in large screens also extends to laser TVs, where the brand achieved a global market share of more than 70% in 2025. Simply put, more than two out of every three Laser TVs shipped worldwide were from Hisense – a testament to the company’s long-standing commitment to redefining home entertainment.
At IFA 2026, Hisense will further advance this vision under the theme “Innovating a Brighter Life,” showcasing how technology can create smarter, more immersive and more entertaining experiences. The Hisense press conference at IFA will take place on September 3rd from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Innovation Stage in Messe Berlin, followed by the Hisense exhibition from September 4th to 8th, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Hall 23a.
From market leadership to next-generation display innovations, Hisense continues to transform technology into experiences that help people see more, enjoy more and live brighter lives.
