-RayNeo expands its consumer augmented reality range: introduces RayNeo iO smart glasses and RayNeo GT cinema series
, /PRNewswire/ — RayNeo™, a global leader in consumer augmented reality (AR) glasses, today announced two key product lines: the RayNeo iO smart glasses and the cinema-grade RayNeo GT series (comprising the RayNeo GT and RayNeo GT Max).
RayNeo GT Max AR Glasses and RayNeo iO Smart Glasses
The simultaneous launch focuses on two main ways consumers use spatial computing: uninterrupted productivity and high-fidelity mobile entertainment. RayNeo comes to market with consolidated momentum, leading the global consumer augmented reality smart glasses market with a 23.7% market share in shipment volume, according to Q1 2026 data from Counterpoint Research. With these additions, RayNeo expands its product portfolio into lightweight, everyday ambient computing and wide-field-of-view spatial cinema. Both product lines will officially go on sale on September 4, 2026.
“The RayNeo iO and GT Series represent a fundamental commitment to purpose-built space hardware,” said Howie Li, Founder and CEO of RayNeo. “Rather than settling for a single device that tries to cover it all, we designed two specific experiences: the iO as an invisible assistant for non-stop productivity and the GT Series as a high-quality personal cinema for travel and entertainment. Together, they offer intuitive tools precisely tailored to the way people work and relax every day.“.
RayNeo iO smart glasses: Ambient intelligence and all-day productivity
Designed for professionals, executives and multi-screen users, RayNeo iO smart glasses combine the retro style of Crown Panto with easy-access environmental information. Weighing just 33 grams with balanced weight distribution (50:50 front to rear), the frames are made from AZ91D magnesium-aluminum alloy and dual aerospace-grade titanium temples for optimal all-day comfort.
Main specifications and features:
- All-day invisible waveguide display: Powered by the green monochrome 0.085cc Firefly Nano engine, the Blue Lake diffractive waveguide achieves 97% optical transparency. On-screen text reaches a brightness of 1,300 nits at eye level, maintaining optimal sharpness for the user and being completely invisible to outside observers.
- Ambient AI Productivity Suite: The integrated ambient AI life log works in the background with low power consumption to capture agendas and conversation contexts. After meetings, the system pulls up pending tasks and requests calendar updates, which users can confirm hands-free with a simple nod.
- Integration with multiple language models: The core features are based on RayNeo AI and Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite. An optional level of multi-model AI selection allows users to switch between industry-leading language models (including Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek) within the companion app.
- Live translation and automatic teleprompter: Powered by Timekettle BabelOS 3.0, the iO offers real-time text translation in 55 languages and 109 accents with a latency of approximately 1 second. The automatic teleprompter dynamically synchronizes with the pace of speech to scroll through scripts hands-free during presentations.
- Accurate voice capture and long battery life: Designed as a visual display (without speakers), the iO combines a 4-microphone array with a bone conduction sensor that isolates vocal vibrations for flawless transcription in noisy environments. The 240 mAh battery offers up to 2 days of typical use (18 hours of continuous recording / 6.2 hours of continuous translation).
- Hardware, connectivity and privacy controls: It features a touch-sensitive Smart Crown physical rotary dial on the right temple, Bluetooth 5.4 with officially licensed Apple MFi for broad compatibility with Android and iOS, IP54 dust and water resistance, and a built-in LED status indicator that lights up when recording or translating.
RayNeo GT Series (GT & GT Max): Cinema-quality spatial visualization
The RayNeo GT series offers a cinema-quality visual and acoustic experience thanks to its dual-chip architecture, which includes the Vision 4000 display chip and the Zone 360 3DoF chip.
Main specifications and features:
- 59° field of view and 3-level screen scaling (GT Max): Powered by the Peacock 3.0 Max optical engine and a 5.5th generation Tandem MicroOLED display, the GT Max offers a wide 59° field of view. Users can dynamically scale the virtual screen to three sizes: 227 inches (85%), 267 inches (100%), and 307 inches (115%).
- Dolby Vision Support: Combined with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, the GT Series is the world’s first augmented reality glasses system to support native Dolby Vision playback, along with real-time AI SDR to HDR conversion.
- 3DoF Zone 360 Hardware Tracking: Dedicated hardware processing supports three display modes: Steady Mode (filters out vibrations and turbulence), Fixed Mode (anchors screen coordinates in 3D space), and Tracking Mode.
- Audio spacial Bang & Olufsen: It features a racetrack-style quad-speaker system with an enhanced 6-band magnetic circuit design (providing a 5 dB increase in low-frequency sensitivity), spatial audio with head tracking, and directional sound transmission in whisper mode.
- Ergonomic, lightweight design with IPD fit: Weighing just 68g (GT) and 78g (GT Max), its aerodynamic chassis offers exceptional comfort. The GT Max is available in 3 interpupillary distance (IPD) sizes (Size S: <64 mm | Size M: 64–67 mm | Size L: >67 mm) to ensure optimal optical clarity on different face shapes.
