Cognizant and Domyn announce strategic partnership to deliver sovereign AI solutions in EMEA

The partnership combines Domyn’s sovereign AI infrastructure, from chip to application, with Cognizant’s expertise in enterprise integration and Cognizant’s strong market position in EMEA. This allows organizations in regulated industries to deploy AI securely on-premises and within sovereign environments

The partnership will help organizations in highly regulated industries deploy powerful AI solutions that keep data within customer-driven environments and support compliance with European regulatory frameworks.

Domyn’s end-to-end AI system — consisting of computing power, proprietary models, governance and AI agents — is specifically designed to address this challenge. Under the partnership, Domyn will provide the AI ​​infrastructure layer, including LLMs (Large Language Models) that can be deployed within the customer’s environment, on-premises or in private cloud configurations. Cognizant handles the application, integration and domain-specific execution layer. Cognizant will train and adapt Domyn’s models into smaller, domain-specific models (SLMs), develop AI agents and applications for specific use cases within industries, and be responsible for building legacy data pipelines, data cleansing, and model tuning necessary for deployment across organizations. Together, the companies are executing a joint go-to-market strategy, targeting organizations in the UK and Ireland, the DACH region, Northern Europe, Southern Europe and the Middle East.
