The focus of the presentation is CQDIMM technology, which enables a total capacity of up to 256 GB with two 128 GB CQDIMM modules. This allows high storage capacities to be combined with high data rates. To realize this potential, GIGABYTE integrates its D5-DUO-X technology, which combines optimized motherboard circuit design with advanced BIOS optimization. Optimized circuit design reduces load on memory channels and improves signal integrity, while BIOS optimization controls timing, signal synchronization and voltage response to support stable high-frequency operation. Supported models include the Z890 AORUS TACHYON DUO X ICE, Z890 AORUS ELITE DUO X and Z890M FORCE DUO X WIFI7.
To further increase system performance, GIGABYTE introduces AI-powered platform optimization technologies in the Z890 Plus series. Ultra Turbo mode optimizes CPU and memory frequencies with one click and can increase performance by up to 40% depending on CPU, DRAM, BIOS version and system configuration.
