In 2025, Dahua continued to integrate ESG strategies into its global operations, focusing on green development, compliance and responsible use of technology. The company received the EcoVadis Silver Medal, ranking it among the top 15% of companies in the world.
Scaling AIoT Innovation Across All Sectors
Dahua continued to develop its AIoT applications in the industrial, urban and environmental fields. In sectors such as new energy and petrochemicals, intelligent inspection solutions have made operations more secure and maintenance optimized. In urban environments, AI-based traffic and infrastructure monitoring systems have contributed to traffic management and incident response, contributing to greater stability of urban operations. In the field of environmental protection, Dahua has used video and sensing technologies on biodiversity monitoring projects, including collaborating with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on wetland conservation. AIoT solutions have also been applied in healthcare and education to improve operational efficiency and accessibility of daily services.
Accelerating green and low-carbon development
In 2025, Dahua has advanced low-carbon transformation across its operations. The company expanded its photovoltaic systems, adding approximately 6.33MW of installed capacity, an increase of 78% from the previous year. The annual production of solar energy intended for self-consumption reached 11,080.70MWh. In terms of manufacturing, Dahua has developed “lightless” factories, with AGVs covering 30,000m2 additional, thereby improving logistics efficiency by 50%. In terms of products, Dahua has continued its development of low-power solutions, including solar-powered 4G devices, battery-operated outdoor cameras and 480kW DC charging systems, to reduce carbon emissions. The company has obtained more than 150 green product certifications and has completed more than 40 product carbon footprint reports. It also optimized packaging design, reducing average volume by 20% and improving storage and transportation space utilization by 300%.
Strengthening data governance, compliance and security
Dahua has strengthened its governance framework by integrating compliance management across its global operations and strengthening business ethics and information security standards. The company has obtained numerous certifications, including GB/T 35770-2022 for compliance management, ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 28000 for supply chain security. During the year, no products were recalled for quality or safety reasons. In cybersecurity and privacy protection, Dahua has remained aligned with international standards such as CE-RED, ISO 27701 and ISO 27018, while operating a vulnerability monitoring system for risk detection and management. Dahua has also advanced AI governance practices, including aligning with the ISO/IEC 42001 standard for artificial intelligence management.
Strengthening community engagement and social impact
In 2025, Dahua supported disaster relief operations and community initiatives in several regions. In Europe, the company contributed to reforestation efforts in Madrid following forest fires, contributing to ecological restoration. Dahua has also collaborated with charities such as Rêves in France and Starlight in Australia to help children with serious illnesses. In Southeast Asia, Dahua participated in emergency response efforts, including flood relief efforts in Indonesia and earthquake assistance in Myanmar.
