/PRNewswire/ — At MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei is introducing its latest SuperPoD products (Atlas 950 SuperPoD and TaiShan 950 SuperPoD) and a range of computing solutions to the world market. It is an expression of the company’s commitment to open source code and open collaboration with the goal of building a resilient computing foundation and creating new possibilities around the world.
Technological innovations create a resilient computing infrastructure
Huawei will showcase SuperPoD products at MWC Barcelona 2026
S rychlým vývojem technologií umělé intelligence a modely, které nyní využívají biliony parametrů, začíná agentní umělá inteligence pronikat do klíčových výrobních processesů v mnoha průmyslových odvětvích. To vytváří poptávku po vyšším výpočetním výkonu a nižší latency. Tyto masivní modely jsou však mimo dosah běžného horizontálního škálování; větší clustery často trpí nižším využitím a častým přerušováním kvůli tréninku.
Huawei has tackled these issues with the innovative UnifiedBus interconnect for SuperPoD. The breakthrough architecture of the “cluster + SuperPoD” system is adapted to the growing demands on computing technology and advances in the field of artificial intelligence. At MWC, Huawei introduced its latest SuperPoD products including the Atlas 950 SuperPoD and the Atlas 850E on the global stage. Built on the UnifiedBus, these products are suitable for a variety of AI training and inference scenarios. For example, the Atlas 950 SuperPoD interconnects up to 8,192 NPUs via UnifiedBus, providing ultra-high bandwidth, ultra-low latency, and unified memory addressing. It functions as a single logical computer for learning, reasoning and processing.
Huawei is also exhibiting the TaiShan 950 SuperPoD (the industry’s first-ever universal computing SuperPoD) along with next-generation servers such as the TaiShan 500 and TaiShan 200. These provide flexible computing capabilities for computing workloads ranging from high to low intensity.
Open source code and open collaboration support a symbiotic ecosystem
Huawei continues to promote open software and open systems with the vision of accelerating innovation and ecosystem prosperity. The company plays a key role in the development of the openEuler system, which has quickly become one of the world’s leading open source operating system communities. Huawei has fully opened up its CANN heterogeneous computing architecture. Thanks to the layered separation, all software components from operator libraries, acceleration libraries, through graph calculations to programming languages are available to developers. CANN also supports open source communities and projects such as Triton, TileLang, PyTorch, vLLM, and verl, making accessibility and efficiency tangibly easier for developers.
As intelligence transforms industries, Huawei remains committed to building a resilient computing foundation and symbiotic ecosystem to create new possibilities for the AI era.
