TCL Edelweiss Land showcases cutting-edge innovation
The initiative comes at a time when technology partners are increasingly important to global sporting events as brands play an increasingly important role in the infrastructure that enables the Olympic Games to be realized and experienced.
TCL strongly believes in the power of sports to inspire and connect people across cultures and generations. As the world unites to welcome the Winter Olympics, TCL’s ‘It’s Your Greatness’ campaign will encourage people to find their own greatness – in line with the event’s official theme ‘IT’s your vibe’. Throughout the event, TCL technology will change the way fans enjoy it. It will provide comfort and connectivity for athletes to perform at their best, and will engage and inspire excellence in audiences and communities around the world.
TCL will help millions of fans enjoy the Winter Olympics on site and around the world by providing televisions, digital advertising and technical assistance to Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) so that the media at the International Broadcast Center can bring the events of Milan and Cortina 2026 to audiences around the world. In Milan’s Olympic Village at the TCL space, TLC will also present its “screen universe” (a universe on screens) and other innovations such as air conditioners with the support of artificial intelligence. It will introduce the fans to technologies that will allow them to enjoy the Winter Olympics even more than before.
TCL also helps ensure that athletes participating in the Winter Olympics can perform at their peak. To acclimatize in the Olympic Villages of Anterselva and Livigno, new generation home appliances from TCL, such as smart washers and dryers, bring a new level of comfort, while TCL TVs help them relax and unwind. TCL also supports the “Athlete Moment” initiative, providing display technology that connects athletes with their loved ones and allows them to celebrate moments immediately after each event.
The idea behind the slogan “It’s Your Greatness” reflects TCL’s commitment to excellence in close alignment with the Olympic values. Years of preparation and months of intense training by hundreds of athletes will culminate in the Olympic events in the next two weeks, where their extraordinary passion and determination will inspire the world. Among them are, for example, Olympic champion and freestyle skier Eileen Gu, rising hockey star Jack Hughes and slalom specialist Alex Vinatzer. TCL supports these athletes as part of the TLC team consisting of 15 athletes from 8 countries participating in the Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics.
Speaking at the opening of the TCL Edelweiss Land exhibit, Kevin Wang, CEO of TCL Technology, said: “TCL’s latest innovations play a key role in the Winter Olympics. Today marks a milestone in TCL’s first year as a global Olympic partner. This collaboration was born out of shared values for innovation and excellence. TCL has always believed in the power of sports to bring people together across cultures and generations, and this is just the beginning.”
TCL Edelweiss Land represents top innovations
The TCL Edelweiss Land exhibition extends the celebration of magnificence. It takes place from February 5 to 22 in Piazza Duca d’Aosta in front of Milan Central Station. On an area of more than 500 square meters, visitors can experience TCL’s latest innovations, share photo-worthy moments and inspire themselves, their friends and their community to create something special. Designed with ecological principles in mind and driven by creativity, the exhibition concept reflects TCL’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Kirsty Coventry, President of the International Olympic Committee, said at the event: “When I think of TCL as a TOP partner, what stands out most is their global reach. This reach allows the magic of the Winter Olympics to spread to communities around the world. TCL is also a technology leader, but it’s not just about technology. TCL shares our values of inspiring success, bringing people together and bringing the Olympics closer to everyone. I’m very excited for the future.” of our partnership. TCL will play a leading role in shaping the perception of the Olympic Games around the world.”
The TCL Edelweiss Land exhibition is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Dedicated zones showcase TCL’s latest products, including the latest display technology developed by TCL CSOT. Visitors can also see smart home appliances and TCL RayNeo AR glasses, which presents the latest augmented reality technologies.
To further amplify the energy and excitement surrounding the Winter Olympics, TCL has partnered with the Olympic Museum to bring a vibrant mural to downtown Milan at Corso di Porta Romana 111. The author of the design is Zeina Rashid, a painter and Olympian who represented Jordan in table tennis in Athens in 2004 and in Beijing in 2008. She was selected for this project through the Olympic Artists Program of the Olympic Museum. She was inspired by her childhood memories of watching the Winter Olympics on TV, which awakened her dreams of the Olympics. Her vision was then breathed into life by the muralist Bublegum. The result is a living tribute to the cultural heritage of the Olympic Games. It celebrates the idea of countless children around the world discovering the Olympic spirit for the first time through a screen that opens a window to their future ambitions.
